Portora Pens
These pens have been crafted locally by wood turner Brendan Bannon who is based in the Buttermarket, Enniskillen.
The wood is from a number of Yew trees which had to be felled in July 2007 in order to carry out work to widen the front avenue leading up to the school.
These samples have been produced to let you see the styles/sizes before ordering. As you can see even from the Three samples here the grain and colour can vary significantly with the darker colours coming from the centre of the tree and the lighter colour nearer the bark.
